Easily switch ports using the On-Console push buttons, On Screen Display (OSD) or keyboard hot key commands. Includes eight, six foot , which allow connection to either PS/2 or USB servers...no adapters needed. Includes a console cable kit that plugs into the port on the back of the unit, providing an extra HD15, (2) USB and (2) PS/2 ports that can be used to connect a Tripp Lite B051-000 IP Remote Access Unit or an external console. It combines a keyboard, touchpad, 19-in. color LCD and 8-port KVM switch in a 1U rack drawer for compact storage and easy access without compromising control over connected servers. The heavy-duty enclosure, high-quality LCD, premium connectors and uncomplicated controls ensure trouble-free operation in demanding high-availability environments. Dual-rail models allow the LCD to remain open while the keyboard is stored out of the way to avoid blocking rack enclosure doors and data center aisles.

Simple, Flexible Network Control
The B020-U08-19-K is designed to ease multi-server management in data centers, server rooms and other high-density environments. BIOS-level access allows network administrators to solve complex problems efficiently and restore service before downtime affects productivity. An advanced on screen display (OSD) with high-resolution VGA video up to 1280 x 1024 provides a graphical user interface with management tools including custom port labeling, auto-scanning and panel array mode. Users may also select a connected computer using on-console pushbuttons or keyboard hotkey commands. Two LEDs per KVM port indicate (1) when a computer is connected to a KVM port and powered on, and (2) when a computer is selected. Two USB ports are provided for connection of an external mouse and flash drive.

Control Multiple Computers
The B020-U08-19-K is capable of controlling up to 504 servers/computers by daisy-chaining additional KVMs (Tripp Lite model B022-U16). This gives network managers the flexibility to add capacity when itΓÇÖs needed, accommodating growing data center requirements without disrupting existing equipment.
Access Servers Anywhere with IP Remote Access Accessory
With the addition of an optional IP Remote Access Unit (Tripp Lite model B051-000, sold separately), the B020-U08-19-K provides secure IP remote access to connected servers/computers without requiring additional rack space. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and more to be accomplished from any location using a standard Web browser or multi-platform client software. A modem port provides optional out-of-band dial-up access to equipment when the network or Internet connection goes down. The B051-000 also supports USB virtual media access.
Secure Every Connection
The B020-U08-19-K offers two levels of password protection (administrator/user) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers/computers. Optional IP remote access is further protected with security features including password protection, advanced encryption, bandwidth-optimized video and detailed activity logging.
